Since September 2010, the companies of the neska group dealing with customs matters have had the customs status of “Authorised Economic Operator” (AEO), and we are therefore considered a secure member of the international supply chain. In addition, neska customers benefit from simplified customs procedures for import- and export transactions. Our number is: DE AEO F 102706
Following the tragic events of 11 September 2001 in the USA, and the realisation that any mode of transport can be affected by terrorist attacks, the International Maritime Organisation IMO supplemented the S O L A S Agreement with the so-called “ISPS Code” in December 2002. It defines global uniform security measures for port facilities and seagoing vessels, to prevent terrorist attacks.
The DCH is a secure port facility under the terms of the ISPS regulations. These regulations require that certain measures must be observed in daily operations.
